As a blogger , We got a chance to actually have a “Meet the Chefs” blogger meet @ rajdhani restaurant, Indiranagar and also meet and interact with the kitchen stars and also visit their kitchen.
As the lunch was arranged for us. We were greeted at the entrance with the traditional greeting by wearing a tikka on our forehead and an aarti , felt like a rajput king, the decor, ambiance, food , people added to the feeling. We were greeted by Unit Sales & Operations Manager Mr.Maltesh Patil who led us to the kitchen with all of us wearing caps as Rajdhani promises authentic& hygienic food, and good service.We met the main Chef (called ‘Maharaj’) Mr.Devisinghji who leads the pack of efficient ,dedicated cooks.
Maharaj started to showcase his expertise with the skills, he knows the best.The kitchen was operated very systematically and this is the place which actually caters to so many hunger pangs people and yet it is so clean, neat and tidy.
Kudos to the team and Mr maharaj for offering us such delicacies with such perfection and consistency.
Once we came out of the kitchen, the best part was just yet to open.
We are seated in a huge table with 20-25 bloggers and each of them ready to grab on anything thats lying on the plate.
The Waiters started to serve the dishes one by one and the way they operate in doing so is soo meticulous , because, the hotel staff have a sign language of communicating among themselves for asking for roti, curry or sweet. each and every item has a sign language and when we ask for it, its there in a jiffy.
All of us relished each and every dish as the spread was vash and we had to do sample all the dishes to feel the essence of food.The true traditional food had the aroma filled in the room which just made us more hungry.As a sumptuous lunch.
As it was a group of blogger, we had our fun by live tweeting,face-booking about the event.
The food reminded me of my days in rajasthan, it had the essence and flavor of rajasthani and Gujarati food.
It has been a enriching and delicious experience to sum it up:)
