Plus91 Food review and launch in Bangalore !!!

Plus91 is the newest Cafe bar in Bangalore, a city full of varied taste buds and diversified cuisines. A place full of food lovers and food joints. This Plus91 is situated at Bangalore well known prestigious Mall , Phoenix market city, Mahadevapura.Though its not anywhere near the city center.but it is always bustling with shoppers and mall goers.

I was amused by the Name of the restaurant which lies in the 1st floor in a comfy corner. As i inquired on the significance of the Name. i discovered, it is named after India’s ISD code “+91” basically signifying the local cuisines of India to the international and in common, the metro audience.

My first feel was like a comfy lil place to hang out with friends, buddies with Indian delicacy of street food and also wide spread variety of drinks. The decor had a warmth feeling which had a touch of Indian culture to it blended with the western one.

We are invited by Gita Budhrani,JSM Corporation Pvt Ltd, Regional Manager – Sales & Marketing Bangalore, India. She informed us that this is gonna be one of the very few places which is going to have a Jukebox, like the others in the country so guests can choose and play their favorite songs amidst world class ambiance.

We were a bloggers of 30 who had vast experience in restaurant and food reviews .Once we got seated, there was an array of dishes that were presented.

Being a vegan, i started with Golguppa , babypotatoes , panner tikka , vada.

Golguppa was the best among the starters. loved it gave a good flavors and essence of typical chat and street food which we enjoy in India.

Most of the dishes had the desi isstyle in it .it was pretty refreshing.Plus91 is from the house of JSM corp, which handles premium restaurant like shiro’s, Hard rock cafe , California pizza kitchen etc.

Plys91 is a tad cheaper compared to its sister concerns, pricing Indian street food on the expensive note wouldn’t do the trick.

We had some mocktails to go with the dishes and they are pretty neat too.

We were struggling to finish the starters with the varieties we were offered.

The main course were Paneer sizzlers, which looked delicious that i could feast with my eyes. The sizzler were good and went well with the mocktails.

For deserts, we had gulab jamun, which was tasting to perfection and worth every bite.

Overall the experience was a good one to have a family get-together and taste authentic street Indian food. this is the place.
