Bangalore is a place that is accepts all cuisines wholeheartedly and that’s the reason why Bangalore is a foodie paradise. One of the new restaurants opened in koramangala is Tim Tai which is an all day Asian Deli offering well known and popular Asian delicacies.
We were invited for the bloggers meet at Tim Tai and as we entered, the setting of the place was very pleasant with bright colors and goes in sync with Tim Tai which belief in Fusion and offers an exhaustive Asian menu that can be best described as fast, fresh, mouth watering, retaining the ‘great authentic’ taste but also tweaked to the palates of today.
We started with the soup,Tom Kha which is the Non veg soup made of thai coconut soup with galangal.
The Veg soup is the Sweet Corn Soup which had sweet corn, asparagus and Garlic oil and loved the texture and flavor of the soup which is perfectly made and fits in with the perfect weather.
They also offered some authentic Asian Raw mango salad which had Raw mango with crispy fried onions and crushed peanuts that gives you a crunchy feel.Definitely worth a try.
Tim Tai offered some signature green tomato salad with grilled shrimps,Lemongrass, Kaffir Lime and chillies and i could see the non veggies relished it.
Dim sum is also a star in a Asian restaurant and Tim Tai was no where behind with their exhaustive dim sums menu where i could just swallow the whole lot.We started with the veg offerings of Dim-sum.
Spicy Soya & Basil Dim Sum had this tangy and flavorful taste to it and was quite a mouthful.
Corn & Spinach Gau is one of my all time favorite and a perfect combo.
Bamboo shoot & shitake Parcels was very unique and different as a dish and i was trying it as a dim sum for the first time and i did like it.
The non veg spread of Dim-Sum was Shanghai Chicken Dimsum,Shrimp Hargo & Lamb & Ginger Wotif.Being a veggie, i had to feast it only through my eyes, but my friends did love the dim-sums.
Prawn Satay was the extension of the starters with prawn skewers with Indonesian Chilli Sambal.
Hong Kong Vegetable with sesame soya and the Water Chestnut & Shitake with Black Pepper are the two main courses that were offered to the vegetarians.I loved the authenticity of the dish and felt like i had the dish in china and hong kong.
Malaysian rendeng curry Chicken and Lamb with Young Peppercorns and Thai Herbs is also a prefect main course.
Thai Chilli Basil Noodles,Indonesian Bamee and Garlic Fried rice with Broccoli,Thai Style Fried rice with Cherry Tomatoes and Black Olive Fried Rice were the other dishes given and they were all up the expectation level.
The perfect way to end an enticing meal is finishing it off with desserts and to start with, we had the
Water Chestnut Rubies with Coconut Milk and i must say, loved the taste and this is the 2nd time i am eating the similar dish and loved it in both the occasions.
Coconut Panna Cotta with Berry Compote and the assorted collection Of Natural Ice-Cream was very colorful.
