Nest, the all-day dining restaurant serves a wide selection of Pan-Asian and Indian specialties.Some of the top bloggers were invited for an experience of a sunday meal at Howard Johnson also known as HOJO.We have a personal menu meticulously curated set Lunch prepared by Head Chef of HOJO Dev Bose and were greeted and hosted by Food & Beverages Manager Mahinder Rawat and Marketing Manager Meghna Trivedy Das.
We were pleasantly surprised when each menu offered to us has a personal touch with our name beaming on it which was heart whelming and gave us assurance that we are going to have a fabulous time and the importance of guest service and quality of food is stressed upon.
The menu was specially made for us keeping our food palate in mind with the best of offerings available at HOJO Bangalore.
It was a private dining area where 8 of us were seated and We started with White Wine and Amuse bouche was served.
The Amuse bouche was traditional yet contemporary.The presentation was perfect and it was dry panipuri served with sour curd and mint which set the appetite for the long sunday lunch that was in-store for us.
We have a good share of conversation with the host.we were informed that HOJO #DineTaxFree
In the starters,We started with vegetarian Starters which was curry leaf & black pepper crushed paneer tikka which was perfectly made with right flavors oozing out with every bite.i totally loved it.
The 2nd Veg Starter was Soya ki Shammi which also was well made that the presence of soya was non existent and was soft and well made.
We were offered Asparagus and Mascarpone Tortellini which was good to taste as well.
The main course for Vegetarians were Cottage Cheese medallions served with pilaf rice and ratatouille.
Though i am a veggie,My fellow bloggers had a brilliant time with the offering as well. New Zealand lamb chop with mashed potato, glazed root vegetable in minty and mustard jus was the star for the Non vegetarians.For chicken lovers,Stuffed chicken breast served with rosemary risotto and pistachio butter sauce.
In Desserts, We were offered Honey Almond bar,Chocolate Buttermilk cake, Basil Creme brulee and Sticky Date Pudding.All the desserts were just out of the world.
