Sneha Chandrashekar, Co- Founder & CEO of The Chef Post, hosted this unique event called Cold War that bought together the best of culinary in pastry & mixology at JW Marriott Hotel Bangalore.
There were 11 hotels Five Star hotels participated in the event presenting their signature dessert that is paired by the erudite effervescent winemaker, Akshay Sunil Baboo. The dessert & drink degustation was then showcased to the tasting panel that consists of eminent personalities in the food space spearheaded by Chef Manjunath Mural, a Michelin Star Chef from Song of India, Singapore.
Celebrity guests Vasundhara Das, manyWaseem Khan much more seen indulging themselves in various desserts prepared by top chefs.
Further to the signature launch of The Chef Post portal where the city witnessed its top Chefs slay the ramp, the portal has become a favourite amongst gourmets for information regarding Chefs & everything culinary. Now, The Chef Post brings to you its first grand event of the year – Cold War.

It’s all in a great tenor to celebrate love for desserts & drinks where the Chefs showcase their best on the table for the audience and definitely with a healthy competitive spirit!
The highlight of the event is definitely all the culinary art that’s going to be presented by the hotels at their best.
Chef Manjunath Mural is the first Indian Chef to have won a Michelin Star in the SE Asia. This would be his first visit back home, and we would witness a Chefs bash at the Cold War where the city’s top Chefs are awaited.
Akshay Baboo, is a winemaker, researcher, rootstock consultant and beverage consultant. He has vinified with the biggest names in the European Wine and Hospitality market. An accomplished winemaker, he is the first Indian Oenologue certified by the Chambre d’Agriculture de France (French Agricultural Ministry). Cold War would see him pair these sensational desserts with innovative and classic drinks.
